Policies And Procedures
1) You agree to pay the instructor for each class upon arrival or in advance.
Price is based on experienceswim.com/packages price chart for
# of swimmers and total lesson duration agreed upon. We do not offer late payment arrangements. No lesson may begin without payment being confirmed.
2) You agree to the Cancellation Policy as follows: You may cancel 24 hours before a lesson is scheduled to take place. If no cancellation is made within the stated 24-hour timeframe before the start of your scheduled lesson, your lesson will be forfeited, and you will be responsible for 100% cost of the class as if it took place. We understand that circumstances arise that are beyond the normal bounds of planning; examples:(illness, family emergency, pool condition suddenly not favorable, etc). However, this policy is not negotiable. If this is a problem, we reserve the right to discontinue servicing your swimming lessons.
3) If you cancel within 24 hours in advance, you are entitled to a make up lesson if you already paid for one. You may use the payment credit (if one exists) for the next scheduled appointment time.
4) If the instructor should cancel a class, you will be notified by phone, text/voice message and/or email. The class will be rescheduled for the next time we have agreed to meet. The cost of the class remains the same as we have agreed to pay per class or in advance.
5) In the event of poor weather, please communicate whether you would still like the instructor to arrive as planned. We have no issue swimming in light rain or cloudy days/cooler temps above 68°F (degrees Fahrenheit) Unless pool water is heated to 80°F or more.
We will cancel for any electric storms (Thunder/Lightning). If the lesson is already taking place when thunder sounds or lightning is visible, you are only responsible for the amount of time that was used.
To calculate fee = price per minute X #of minutes used.
• If we could not get in to begin the lesson, no fee will be charged
Refunds: If you have paid for classes in advance and instruction is cancelled you are entitled to a refund for classes that have not yet taken place only if you have given more than 24 hour notice of canceling said classes. There are NO refunds for classes that have already taken place and for classes that were scheduled to take place with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation.
Poolside Manner: It is imperative that children follow all safety rules in and around the pool. No running or horseplay. Screaming and foul language is not permitted. Quiet speaking voices are expected.
Child Supervision: Parents are expected to be poolside during lessons. Unsupervised children will be removed from the pool until parent/guardian returns (If this results in the student losing time of instruction, it will be at the parent’s/guardian’s cost). If a lesson is taking place before you, please wait outside of the pool area until the instructor asks you to enter as a courtesy to the student before you.
Food and Drink: No gum, candy, snacks, food, or drinks are permitted in or around the pool area. Please give your child these items in the car before you enter the facility, or at some other time.
